Drummer Colin Brittain, a producer and songwriter for G Flip, Illenium, and One OK Rock, will also join the band.
Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara, the band revealed Thursday during a live performance event, will be Linkin Park’s new co-vocalist. Drummer Colin Brittain, songwriter and producer for G Flip, Illenium and One OK Rock, will also be joining the band.
The news included a fresh single, “The Emptiness Machine,” the band’s first new release in seven years, and the lead track for a forthcoming album titled “From Zero.” The group’s first full-length effort since 2017’s “One More Light,” which came out two months before lead vocalist Chester Bennington’s death, will arrive on Nov. 15 (via Warner Records).
Comprising Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, and Joe Hahn as well as two new members, the group will also start a six-date arena tour visiting Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, London, Seoul, and Bogota. View the whole tour routing here.
On Thursday for paid attendees driven by busses to a studio lot, Linkin Park staged their first performance in Los Angeles. The concert was live-streamed and will be viewable on Linkin Park’s official online channels for the next twenty-four hours.
